The operation of fluorescent bulbs is based on the knowledge of the way electrons behave when they are energized. This basic knowledge is used in all sorts of light bulbs. Various mixtures of photon coatings create lights of different colours. Fluorescent bulbs are more efficient than normal incandescent bulbs.
They create more light for the same present as incandescent lamps. They can provide a variety of colour ranges obtainable in other light bulbs. Since they are not affected by vibration, fluorescent bulbs can also be safely used as fan bulbs. Fluorescent bulbs don’t become blistering hot and can be used in places where fire safety is a concern.
